HTC Sync Manager was a free computer application designed by HTC to synchronize multimedia, personal data, and documents between a computer and an HTC mobile device. However, HTC officially discontinued support for HTC Sync Manager in 2020, removing it from their official downloads and rendering it obsolete for newer devices. ⚙️ Core Functions (When Active)

When the software was active, users connected their phones via a USB cable to execute several key management tasks:

Media Management: Users could preview, organize, and transfer music, photos, and videos. It allowed playlists from iTunes and Windows Media Player to sync straight to the device.

Personal Data Syncing: The software synced web browser bookmarks, contacts, and calendar events automatically upon connection.

Document Transfer: It moved documents, including PDFs and Office files, by setting specific folder paths on the PC or Mac.

Full Device Backups: It allowed full backups of phone contents to a computer, which could be password-protected and used for later data restoration.

iPhone Migration: It included a migration tool to easily port contacts, messages, photos, and settings from an iTunes backup onto an HTC device. 💻 System Compatibility HTC Sync Manager Overview | HTC United States
